Wednesday 25 May 2022 - the Giro d'Italia will face two fundamental and decisive climbs.
Starting from Ponte di Legno, in the province of Brescia, the Giro will immediately cross the Tonale Pass passing through the Val di Sole and Val di Non, Paganella, Rotaliana, Val di Cembra and Valsugana, up to the finish line in Lavarone, not before having faced the tough climbs of the
Passo del Vetriolo and Monte Rovere, with the
Menador road.
Thursday 26 May 2022 - The 18th stage of the Giro will start from
Borgo Valsugana and will end in Treviso.
With a distance of 146 km and an altitude difference of 570 m, it will be the last compact group sprint of the Giro 2022.
The stage will start from Borgo Valsugana, will continue towards Grigno and will reach the historic Stairs of Primolano, gateway to the Piave valley. He will then cross the Prosecco production area between Valdobbiadene and Refrontolo and will tackle the last roughness of the route: the short Muro di Ca 'del Poggio. Finally the Treviso plain, the last circuit before the final sprint.
A unique emotion for all cycling lovers and beyond. The last appearance of Valsugana at the Giro d'Italia dates back to 1 June 2019, when Fausto Masnada was the first to cross the top of Passo Manghen, Cima Coppi 2019.
