For an entire weekend, Pergine Valsugana is getting ready to change its look. The historic center of this Trentino town will become a gigantic open-air universe where comics, video games, cosplay, music, and pop culture will take over the squares, alleys, and historic buildings. On June 13 and 14, PERGINE COMICS 2026 arrives—a fully immersive experience designed to bring together different generations—families, enthusiasts, and the curious—under a shared sense of excitement, transforming a typical weekend getaway into a journey into the imagination.
Created with the goal of making visitors the true stars of the event, the festival features a rich program of activities spread throughout the city, where strolling through the streets will take you from a challenge on a giant screen to a Korean cooking workshop, all the way to role-playing sessions featuring dragons and spaceships.
The big news for 2026: PERGINE COMICS LET'S PLAY A unique interactive experience that turns the audience into the protagonists of a real-life video game spread throughout the city. Choose your path, complete missions, and collect PERZIN DOLLARS, the festival’s official currency. Each completed challenge will earn you exclusive merchandise, Mystery Bags, and collectible cards signed by illustrator Luciano Costarelli at the Locanda della Pro Loco.

DETAILS OF THE AREAS AND PROGRAM
Stage & Cosplay Village Area (Piazza Municipio & Piazza Fruet): The beating heart of the event. The stage will feature special guests such as Maurizio Merluzzo, the beloved voice actor and creator, and Gem Boy, the legendary cult band ready to set the crowd on fire with their mix of comedy and music. There will also be magic shows with Magic Factor, the Disneyamo show, K-pop performances, and the highly anticipated Official Cosplay Contest (organized by Cosplay and Nerd), which attracts hundreds of participants from all over Italy.
ON STAGE AREA PROGRAM
The Video Game & VR Arena (Palazzo a Prato & Via Crivelli): Pergine Comics promises a whole new level of gaming. At Palazzo a Prato (Via Maier), a completely free arena awaits you with state-of-the-art stations, giant screens, and the qualifying round of the regional Mario Kart and Smash Bros. tournament (organized by Beyoung), with a console up for grabs. On Via Crivelli, the Glitch VR Arena will let you literally step inside the game thanks to immersive virtual reality experiences.
GLITCH VR ARENA PROGRAM
RPG & Board Game Area (Palazzo Hippoliti & Piazza Serra): Palazzo Hippoliti will be transformed into a vast fantasy realm where experienced Game Masters from Volkan, AlterEgo, and Dolomiti Nerd will guide participants through epic campaigns, fantasy worlds, and space voyages in role-playing games. In Piazza Serra, the spotlight is on board games with an open-air game room, tournaments, miniatures, and live magic featuring Ludoteca Ludimus, Forma Mentis Tridentinae, Asgard Aldeno, Beyblade, and Magico Camillo.
RPG AREA PROGRAM + BOARD GAME PROGRAM
Artist Alley & Off Stage (Vicolo delle Garberie): The hub for illustration and comics. Italian artists will meet the public through live drawing sessions, workshops, and creative markets in Artist Alley (curated by Ruvido Studio and InkAstri). Next door, “The Jungle” (curated by Andrea Tomasini) will open, a space dedicated to meetings and debates on pop culture and the future of young people, featuring the special panel “The Future Is Here: Your Voice Matters.”
OFF STAGE AREA PROGRAM
Family Area (Piazzetta degli Hippoliti): The headquarters for little heroes, featuring inflatables, face painting, cotton candy, Pokémon Card workshops, and ceramic printing with the “Create Your Own Comics Mug” workshop. The main attraction will be the Academy of Legends: an epic training program featuring a series of challenges to test your skills and earn the official title of Dragon Knight.
FAMILY AREA PROGRAM
Korean-Style Cooking Class (Palazzo a Prato): Because pop culture is also expressed through cuisine. A hands-on workshop led by UNIKE Soul Food to learn how to make the famous Korean Kimbap.
COOKING CLASS RESERVATIONS
Market & Food Experience: A market spread throughout the streets and themed menus from restaurants that will have a stand in Piazza Serra (Al Cavalletto, Enogastrolab, Innesti Restaurant).
THEMED MENUS
In Piazza Santa Elisabetta, the Truck Food area (King Tortel, Francesco Street Food & Slow Truck by Paolo Betti) will be present to transform the festival into a giant celebration of comics and traditional flavors reimagined with a pop twist.

recommended to reserve in advance for special experiences, workshops, and the interactive game “Let's Play” on the website, and then pay during the event (at the shop booth in Piazza Municipio and the Family Area).

Pergine Comics promotes local talent through significant partnerships with schools and educational institutions in the area:

Istituto Pavoniano Artigianelli: Technical partner for the printing of promotional materials. They will be present with a booth dedicated to the Cartoon Artist course, featuring students working live.

TAG Advanced Graphic Design Training: A Space for the Future! In this edition, the festival proudly hosts students on internships as part of a School-Work Alternation program. A hands-on experience that allows young people to put their creativity to work, actively contributing to the event’s success.

Trento “Vittoria” High School of the Arts: Strategic collaboration for School-Work Alternation programs, with students working on-site to support festival activities.

Pergine 2 Comprehensive School “T. Garbari”: A new collaboration featuring a widespread exhibition of students’ works in the shop windows of the historic center (in collaboration with C.O.P.I.) and a comic book workshop on Saturday morning.
-Canossa Fashion Center: A booth dedicated to fashion design and costume art, where visitors can watch sketches and cosplay creations being made live.
