Vigolana

The enchanting landscape of the Vigolana Plateau, surrounded by Vigolana (south-west) and Marzola (north-west), it is covered in wide meadows and forest which remained untouched throughout the time. Thanks to the lavish nature it is a sort of natural balcony on the alpine landscapes, the valleys and the lake of Caldonazzo.

The woods are full of pines, larches, firs and beech trees, while the groundcover is full of flowers: cyclamens, rhododendrons, lilies of the valley and orchids, while during the summer you can pick mushrooms and chestnuts. The warmth and the friendliness of the population leads, in the summer, to the organization of many local feasts, concerts and events, proposed by the local volunteer associations. In the winter trips with the snow-shoes are organized, while waiting for Christmas to come, with the decoration of pine trees, nativity scenes and the popular Christmas markets.
The Vigolana is a relaxing area right in the heart of Trentino, the ideal destination for all seasons, to relax physically and mentally.
