Trout Farming

 

Symbols of the purity of the water in Valsugana and Lagorai, trout are bred in the whole area, in modern, fish farming plants that reproduce the necessary environmental conditions using natural spring water. 

For lovers of fishing, a map “Natural fishermen” is available at all Valsugana Tourist offices.

Recipe: Baked trout 

Ingredients:
1 trout 
a tuft of parsley
a clove of garlic 
a spoon of bread – crumbs
1 lemon
a spoon of extra – virgin oil 
salt and pepper 

Procedure:
Clean the trout, wash it and get it dry. 
Put it in a bowl and amalgamate the parsley with the bread-crumbs, the grated peel of half  lemon  and its juice, the salt, the pepper, the oil.  Fill the trout with the amalgam, place it on a sheet of oiled aluminium, foil and cover it with slices of lemon. 
Close the sheet of oiled aluminium and bake in oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
