Climbing is now a valid tourist activity that attracts enthusiasts on both natural and artificial structures at competitions, fairs, and festivals, which are increasingly organized in tourist locations. This activity can also be seen in the
Lagorai where
natural crags are very popular and popular.
Cimbing in the mountains
There are many possibilities for climbing in a
natural environment in the mountains on the granite and porphyry walls in the area of
Valsugana and Lagorai, extensively already described in numerous publications including "
Lagorai Cima D'Asta - Climbing on the granite of the Dolomites" by Alessio Conz and Gianfranco Tomio (Versante Sud editions). Among the various routes, at the suggestion of the authors,

Crags
Numerous are the routes with different types of rock and difficulty, the variety of crags is wide and the offer can be said to be complete, ranging from 3rd to 8th from big handholds to small holds, from overhangs to cracks to pass in "dulfer."
Crozi di Sella - Armentera Plaques. "Borgo Valsugana-Olle"
How to reach
For those coming from Trento take the exit for Borgo, while for those coming from Padua exit following the sign Borgo zona industriale the exit leads to merge with the old state road. Keep right and continue to the first traffic light after which turn right following the signs for Val di Sella. Continue for about 10 minutes more and at the side of the road you can see the sign indicating the first crag "Crozi di Sella." For those who want to reach the Placche di Armentera, all that is left to do is to continue on and reach the Hotel Legno, which is not even 5 minutes away; from here continue on foot, leaving the car at the Hotel parking lot. Going back on foot for about 100mt you reach the Forestry Lodge that is upstream of the road, here you go up along the forestry road for about 20' always keeping to the right in all the two forks that you meet.

How to reach
Raggiungere l’abitato di Ivano Fracena e proseguire fino alla località “Ferrari” parcheggiare l’auto all’ex Ca bianca, 50 metri prima c’è un spazio sulla sinistra per appena 2 macchine e da li sale la strada forestale che ci permette di raggiungere dopo 10’ l’incrocio con il sentiero che sale sulla sinistra e che si addentra in una fitta boscaglia, dopo 5’ si raggiungere la Falesia. (data la sua altezza ed esposizione questa falesia permette di arrampicare per quasi tutto l’anno).

How to reach
For those coming from Trento and for those coming from Padua, exit at Zona industriale di Grigno, then head towards the built-up area and on the right after, a series of bends we find a clearing where to leave the car. From here following the only path you will reach the base of the Crag.
