The plain between the Calsonazzo and Levico lakes and the Valsugana valley can be seen as a large, widespread apple orchard . The production of apples, a symbol of Trentino, is managed by two consortiums committed to transmitting the awareness of the right balance among the safeguarding of the local environment, the needs of an agricultural production and the consumer’s health.

APPLE JUICE
Apple juice is obtained by squeezing the minced up apples. The pasteurization process keeps the organoleptic and nutritional characteristics of the fresh picked apple, which means 100% genuineness.

RECIPE: APPLE PIE WITH CHOCOLATE
Ingredients:
4 eggs
200 g sugar cane
½ glass of oil
300 g of flour
a powder of yeast for sweet
5 apples
a little glass of rum
200 g of cut plain chocolate
Procedure:
Peel the apples and cut it into slices; put them in a bowl with the rum and a little sugar. Whip eggs and sugar with an electric whisk until they will assume a white and foamy appearance. Add then oil, flour and baking powder sifted.
Pour half of the mixture into the pan then cover ¾ of the surface with the apples and the cut chocolate.
Cover the rest of the mixture and put the slices of apples remained.
Cook in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes.
