CHURCH OF SANTA APOLLONIA

Town: Spera
Ancient church, rearranged in the seventeenth century, boasts a remarkable cycle of frescoes dating from the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, brought to light in the mid-twentieth century (…) white plaster of later periods.

It preserves interesting seventeenth-century wooden altars and a painting with Madonna and saints made by the local painter Lorenzo Fiorentini in 1679.

The church has on the main altar has a beautiful wooden crucifixion, is also called Santa Croce.
