St Lawrence Church

Town: Cinte Tesino

The church, dating back at the beginning of the sixteenth century, was rebuilt after the disastrous fire that broke out in 1876, and fully restored in the mid-twentieth century; During the restoration were found interesting remains of frescoes dated 1501.

The interior, with a single nave, has two niches above the side entrances with a lot of statues; the ancient statue on the left, dating back to 1753, has always been known as the Madonna della Neve.

The high altar, eighteenth century, is surmounted by a beautiful contemporary tabernacle. On the barrel ceiling, note the white stuccoes made by Pegoretti from Pergine and frescoes by Basaglia.

Information: The church is visible every day from 8.00 to 18.00.
