Sawmill - Sog Van rindel

The Venetian sawmill "Sog van Rindel" is located on the Balkof stream in Fierozzo, it remained active until the seventies and represents a testimony to the processing of wood and its use. Inside it will be possible to observe the operation through the force of the water, hear the noise of the saw cutting the trunk forming wooden planks used in different contexts.

In the museum section it is also possible to observe a small corner created for the owner, where he could cook and shelter from the cold. During the visit you will be able to understand the operating technique through the release of water and the management of the water intakes positioned next to the sawmill.
