The Village of Magic in Pergine tells you the legends of gnomes and elves, who according to the traditions, used to be seen during the Advent period, to distribute presents and Christmas sweets. 
This is the reason why the Christmas Markets in Pergine Valsugana celebrate this period, with lights, songs, shows and jugglers which lighten up the atmosphere with exhibitions, food & wine tastings in the city centre. More info...
