The mine used in the past to extract pyrite and it is now an open park, open for visitors. In the 20th century it was an important source of income for the local community, until 1964. Now it is an interesting museum.

The site is closed in 2020

An exhibition of minerals from Trentino and lamps with helmets is on display at the Calceranica Mining Reception Center. 
The exhibition is open from May to August 2026, every Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with free admission.
