De Mil
Putting an old mill into operation today means not only returning to being able to observe the grinding of cereals, but also presenting an overview of the entire cereal production cycle.
The Mòcheno cultural institute manages the mulino de mil, which is located in Roveda Ochlait (a hamlet of Frassilongo) and which, thanks to the recent restoration, during which wooden installations were also inserted for the little ones, will allow you to get to know fund the whole world linked to cereal farming.
By entering the mill you can learn about the grinding techniques, see the active millstones with your own eyes and see the grain transformed into flour.
Attention: in the 2023 season the De Mil mill is CLOSED for works. To next year!
In compliance with current government provisions (DPCM of 23 July 2021), from 6 August 2021 to access the museum and its local offices and to participate in events it is necessary to present the Green Pass.
