Castel Pergine: a medieval gem in Trentino

Castel Pergine, located on a hill overlooking Pergine Valsugana and the surrounding mountains, is one of the most impressive castles in Trentino. Built in the 12th century and later enlarged, this castle has been at the centre of important historical events and today welcomes both visitors and guests for an immersive experience.

Information on visits
- Lasting approximately 1.5 hours, €10 for adults and €5 for children under 14 (maximum 15 people).
- Guided tour: every day upon by reservation. It includes a visit to the inner garden, the Chapel of St Andrew, the entire second floor and the Maximilian Tower. Always call to arrange the guided tour and to avoid the visits during the hottest hours of the day.
- Free access: the castle is open every day from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m., except on Thursdays. You can walk along the outer wall path, through the park between the two walls, and visit autonomously the entire first floor of the castle, the armoury, the ‘Cantina Rosa’, the ‘Prigione della Goccia’, the ‘Sala dei Cavalieri’, the 'Sala del Trono' and the restaurant. The areas with free access are open from 1 April to 2 November.
- Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Restaurant and café

The Bistrot Ca' Stalla will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.  with closing on Tuesdays (the bar of the tower is open), offering cafeterias, lunches and aperitifs.

Ristorante al Castello in the Baronial Palace will welcome guests from Thursday to Monday, from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. (only by reservation: info@castelpergine.it or 0039 345 7033720)

The indoor bar is open daily from 5.00 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Animals
The castle is dog-friendly, allowing dogs to enter, making the visit accessible for the whole family.
