From July 3 2025, the extraordinary service to connect Bassano and Valcanover along one of the best-loved cycle routes in all of Trentino will start.
Starting on Wednesday 3 July, the new Bike'n Bus service will be activated, a shuttle equipped to transport bicycles along the stretch between Bassano del Grappa and Valcanover, designed precisely to guarantee the usability of the cycle route during this period of disruption. The service is the result of collaboration between APT Valsugana Lagorai and Trentino Trasporti, with the support of the Autonomous Province of Trento.
The vehicle, equipped with a dedicated bike carrier, will be able to transport up to 30 bicycles (both muscular and pedal-assisted) and 3 children's carriers, with strategic stops at the main access points to the cycle path: Tezze di Grigno, Borgo Valsugana, Levico Terme, Caldonazzo and Valcanover.
When and how it works
The service will operate from 3 July to 14 September 2025, with different cadences depending on the flow of tourists:
From 3 to 13 July and from 28 August to 14 September: Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays
From 14 July to 24 August: daily except Saturdays
Three daily runs planned:
Departure from Bassano FS at 14:00 with arrival in Valcanover at 15:30
Return from Valcanover at 15:40 with arrival in Bassano at 16:50
Last run from Bassano at 17:20, arrival in Valcanover at 18:50
Costs and modalities
The ticket costs €5 per ride (cash only).
Holders of the Trentino Guest Card are entitled to free use of the entire service, on the entire route from Bassano del Grappa to Valcanover, including all intermediate stops.
Reservation through APT Valsugana Lagorai is recommended, but access is also possible without a reservation, subject to availability.
