St. Vendemiano Church

Town: Ivano Fracena

The church is located on a small hill east of Fracena, is documented since the sixteenth century but Its origin, however, would be earlier. This church is one on the oldest churches of the Strigno area and it was for centuries a hermit's seat.

It was rebuilt at the beginning of the seventeenth century by the then feudal lords of Castel Ivano. It has a gabled roof with shingle roof. Beautiful porch with cylindrical columns in front of the entrance.

During the First World War it suffered serious damage and was then restored in 1922 and again in 1981.
