The cave is the widest in Trentino and the largest in Italy with a single entrance point, it develops in 27 km of galleries, varying from - 100 and + 35 m. A curious touch: the Malga Fossetta Abyss (in the Municipality of Gallio, on the Sette Comuni plateau), with its known depth down to – 1.000m- The cave is difficult to explore and prone to sudden flooding and can therefore be visited by experts only, guided by the members of the Gruppo Grotte Selva.
