It was discovered in 1983 during some road repairing works and its name reminds of the one of the boy who first entered the cave. The narrow entrance point, after 15 m, leads to the “Sala del Focolare” (the "Room of the fireplace") where some remains of a fireplace were found, thus confirming that the cave belonged to a large urban prehistoric site.
