Val Campelle and Val Caldenave
The torrent Maso di Spinelle flows through the valley picking up the really clear water of over 30 little alpine lakes of high mountains. In summer the cows that live here in the different alpine huts colours the green pastures and give the milk to produce the delicious mountain cheese, according to ancient methods.
Ideal for a stay in nature the Campelle valley is famous for numerous trekking tracks with different levels, like difficult trekking tours to the highest mountain tops or easy walks over the mountain slopes. During the trip you’ll be impressed by beautiful nature: you can find gentian and rhododendron and meet chamois, stags, marmots and roes.
During the first world war this area was also a battlefield, for this reason you’ll find paths between mule-tracks, tombstones, commemoratives, rests of hospitals and an ex military cemeteries.

In winter the valley becomes a paradise for lovers of snowshoeing and ski mountaineering
How to reach the valley
Take the road SS47 of valsugana and leave it at Strigno- Scurelle. In the centre of Strigno you have to go to the left following the indications for Spera. along the road to hut Crucolo, along the torrent Maso, you’ll find a lot of picnic-areas with tables and barbecue-places, here it is possible to make a pleasant stop and to relax a little bit.
