Blue Flag of FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education, active in 41 countries around the world) is an important prize which awards the touristic localities on seas and lakes for the promotion of a
sustainable tourism
Also for the year 2026 the prestigious prize has been confirmed to
Levico Lake, and to
Caldonazzo Lake; two of the few water mirrors of
Trentino Alto Adige that can boast the coveted Blue Flag.
The
European Blue Flag award applies very well with the
philosophy of the destination aimed at the sustainable development of an already highly natural area; destination that, first in the world, obtained
in 2019 the certification for sustainable tourism according to GSTC criteria.
