The Lagorai Mines Park, by networking the geosites and museums of the area, has traced a path that allows the entire history of the Valley to be told. Every site, every museum represents an era. From the Bronze Age to the present day.

The thousand-year history of the mines ended in the 60s of the last century and the only cultivation activities still active in the area of the future geopark are now those linked to the quarries for the extraction of the Venetian Porphyry and to a small extent to those of dedicated to the extraction of ornamental carbonate stones.
