Biotope I Mughi

Town: Pieve Tesino

The Biotope “I Mughi” is in Drio Silana, close to Pieve Tesino. You can reach it turning into a secondary road close to lake Pradellano and going on for about 4 km. The protected area is located in a wide basin, signalled by panels.

These humid areas allow for the presence of botanic species and vegetation associations which are extremely rare on the south side of the Alps.

You can visit the biotope along the 2.3 km long path which crosses the area and is partially external too. Along the path you can find some information panels, which describe the main features of the protected area and its surroundings.
