Museum of school

Town: Pergine Valsugana
The School Museum was founded in Pergine Valsugana in 1997 thanks to the interest of a group of teachers of the Don Milani Elementary School for the objects that the history of the school has left us and that represent an important cultural value.

The great material collected made possible a permanent exhibition set up in the atrium of the "Don Milani" school, opened to the public on May 31, 1997. Soon, however, the exhibition space revealed its precariousness and inadequacy. The commission thus became an independent association, with its own independent statute and budget, composed of passionate volunteers with the declared purpose of giving life to a real school museum, with its own and independent headquarters.

Since summer 2013 it has been based in the basement of the new Teatro Comunale.
