Chestnut Festival
The Chestnut Festival returns from 23 to 25 October for its 46th edition. A weekend celebrating tradition, food, music and a wide range of activities for the whole family.
The event will bring the town centre to life from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026, with market stalls, food stands, chestnut-based sweets, shows, concerts and activities for adults and children.
This year’s main new feature is the Terme Park, which will host an area dedicated to families and the market, with workshops, entertainment and activities for children. The traditional walks to discover the local area will also be on offer, accompanied by forest rangers and mountain hiking guides.

Friday, 23 October
10:00–17:00 Woodcarvers, the legends of Roncegno. Villa Waiz Square.
18:00 Presentation of the book “Vocabolario della parlata dialettale di Stivor”, organised by the Stivor ETS Association. Fireplace Room – Casa Raphael.
18:00 Choir Square: Apericoro with cicchetti, accompanied by Juri and his music.
Food stand: Arrosticini, chips and crêpes, organised by the S. Osvaldo Choir in the Town Hall square.
18:30 GSD Football Team Presentation: presentation of the GSD Roncegno teams and coaching staff.
20:30 GlockenThurm live in concert. VF Square.
20:30 Valsugana Singers concert. Festival Hall – Casa Raphael.
Saturday, 24 October
09:30 Guided walks departing from the Town Hall, accompanied by forest rangers and mountain hiking guides. Duration: 2 hours.
10:00–17:00 Woodcarvers, the legends of Roncegno. Villa Waiz Square.
10:00–18:30 The Enchanted Forest: workshop and treasure hunt organised by Studio Irydea. Terme Park.
13:30–17:30 Live music with I Trifisa. VF Square.
14:00–18:00 Entertainment and shows for children with AniMacri. Terme Park.
14:00 FESTIVAL OPENING CEREMONY and cutting of the giant cake. Terme Park.
14:30 “The Child Who Befriended the Hedgehogs” – a fairy tale about chestnuts for families, with Giuliano and Dante Libero Comin. Playground above Montebello Square.
15:00 Try a musical instrument, organised by the Lagorai Civic Band. Playground above Montebello Square.
18:00 Choir Square: Apericoro with cicchetti, accompanied by Duo Euphonia.
Food stand: Arrosticini, chips and crêpes, organised by the S. Osvaldo Choir in the Town Hall square.
20:30 The Capston: 1970s and 1980s rock. VF Square.
21:00 DJ set with Stefano Cenci. Montebello Square.
22:30 DJ set with ErickLoud DJ. VF Square.
Sunday, 25 October

11:30–13:00 The Little Great Violinists’ Musical Parade. Classical and folk music for all heights. A roving performance through the town centre streets and Terme Park.

14:00–18:00 Entertainment and shows for children with AniMacri. Terme Park.
