Workshops, market stalls, tastings, performances, and festivals showcasing Trentino’s local products
It all starts with a pumpkin. But which one?
Long or round, small or gigantic, smooth, wrinkled, ribbed or lumpy. Orange, green, yellow or in the most surprising shades. Entering the world of pumpkins means embarking on a little journey to discover an extraordinarily large family: the Cucurbitaceae, which comprises around 90 genera and 900 species.
Young and old alike can let their curiosity be their guide: putting their creativity to the test in workshops, discovering themed exhibitions, learning about traditional trades and crafts, stopping to listen to music and letting themselves be enchanted by the scents and flavours of autumn.
And along the way, there’ll be plenty of new surprises, with the Honey and Chestnut Village and an area dedicated to gastronomy and local produce.
Three days to step into the world of autumn, experience it, savour it and discover it together.
PROGRAMME
FRIDAY 9 OCTOBER
From 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm
The festival opens with an exhibition of pumpkins, honey and chestnuts. Throughout the day, visitors can stroll amongst the stalls, discover local produce and specialities, and savour traditional flavours in the food area dedicated to pumpkins
Honey Festival dedicated to the wonderful world of bees and their products. There will be stalls selling honey and other bee products, along with an educational beehive where you can observe the life of bees up close. An expert beekeeper will guide visitors on a journey of discovery through this fascinating world, sharing interesting facts, traditions and secrets.

With clay and our hands, towards autumn!
Creating shapes in clay: little cups, hedgehogs and little snakes. Everyone will mould the clay to create their own special shape and finish it off with decorations and small elements from nature.
Forest Imprints – eco-printing workshop
Leaves, bark, small berries and ferns from the park and woodland will be pressed using stamps and mini clay moulds to create a natural collection. You can join in with other children to create a collective print, and everyone will keep a piece to take home.

THE CAT AND THE FOX
The Cat and the Fox roam the park promising incredible riches: planting coins in the Pumpkin Field to make a golden tree grow.

A walk to explore the woodland and autumn, 6 km with an elevation gain of approximately 300 metres. Suitable footwear and clothing for walking are recommended. (ages 7 and over)

With clay and our hands, heading into autumn!
Creating shapes with clay: little cups, hedgehogs and little snakes will slowly take shape in our hands. By working with the clay, everyone will create their own special shape and finish it off with decorations and small elements from nature.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE PUMPKIN FESTIVAL
There is an admission charge; the funds raised will be used to support the cultural events organised each year in Pergine Valsugana.
Admission €3.00. Free for children under 6.
Pumpkin workshops and pumpkin carving
Meet and register at the creative workshops venue 30 minutes before the activity begins.
The food and drink areas
Several food and drink outlets are also dedicated to pumpkins and autumn produce, offering gourmet menus featuring original dishes made with the finest autumn produce.
