The Fountain in Venezia Square

Town: Levico Terme
This fountain of Levico Terme was built in the mid of the 16th century, in the church square, at the beginning of via Trieste (then called “Contrada della Fontana”) almost under the arch of the “Slucca-Matteoni” house.

When the Market Square, which was opened in 1836, was built to host markets and fairs, the fountain was dismantled, in 1922 and rebuilt in its current location. The basin is octagonal and the water outflows from 4 pipes from the central column.
