Borgo Valsugana is preparing to host one of the most important events on the national youth judo calendar.
On Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026, the Sports Hall in Borgo Valsugana, located in Via G. Gozzer 52, will host the Italy Trentino Judo Championship – Debutants A and B, an important event on the FIJLKAM – Italian Judo Federation, Karate Wrestling and Martial Arts national calendar.
Around 800 young judokas are expected in Valsugana, coming from sports clubs across all Italian regions. Technicians, managers, race officials, family members and support staff will arrive with the athletes, for a total movement estimated at over 2,000 people. A very important sporting event, but also a significant opportunity to promote and enhance Valsugana and the Trentino region.
The
program will begin on
Friday, September 18, with a national referee update, which will bring match officials and coaches to Borgo Valsugana for training and an in-depth look at the rules.
The weekend will therefore be entirely dedicated to competitions, with young judokas from the Debutants A and B categories taking center stage on the tatami.
