LakeArt Wild Ride | Art, Nature & E-MTB
A 35 km route, with an elevation gain of approximately 1.000 metres. The activity is for e-mtb only.
Starting from Levico, the tour will take in all four
LakeArt installations; after visiting them, it will continue towards San Vito, Santa Caterina, and Campregheri, offering panoramic views of the lakes from above, before descending again towards Levico, passing through the Cantina Romanese, and finally returning to the Village.
Martino Fruet and Giorgia Lucchi Boccanera will be leading the ride “LakeArt Wild Ride. Art, Nature & E-MTB”. The ride is designed as an
experience blending art, landscape and movement: an e-bike route taking in the four LakeArt installations, described by two different and complementary points of view. Martino Fruet will lead the group along the route, while Giorgia Lucchi Boccanera will guide the tour of the artworks, explaining the LakeArt project and its connection to the local area.
Martino Fruet is one of the legendary figures of Italian mountain biking, an Italian XCO champion and winner of a World Cup round. Today, he is also a leading figure in E-MTB:
at the recent World Championships in Val di Sole, he finished 7th whilst representing Italy.
Giorgia Lucchi Boccanera, gallery owner and founder of Boccanera Gallery, is the creator of LakeArt, a contemporary art project spread across the landscape and along the lakeside cycle route.
